Llanfair Body Shop has been a trusted name in Cincinnati, OH, since its establishment in 1944. Originally founded as Llanfair Garage at the corner of Llanfair Street and Hamilton Avenue in College Hill, it began as a car sales business with a mechanical and body shop. Over time, the focus shifted to provide specialized auto body repair and collision services.
In 1973, the business was purchased by David and Marilyn Schofield. David first joined the company in 1972 as a body repair technician after graduating from the GM Fisher Body School and quickly took over ownership from the original founder, Willard Davis. Under their leadership, Llanfair Body Shop evolved, concentrating fully on collision repair by the mid-1980s, closing the garage and sales operations to focus solely on restoring vehicles.
The shop expanded during this period by acquiring an adjacent property and adding towing and wrecker services. In 1989, Llanfair Body Shop relocated to its current location at 9394 Pippin Road in Colerain Township, welcoming both loyal customers who followed them and new clients from the surrounding communities.
Today, Llanfair Body Shop proudly serves third- and fourth-generation customers, maintaining a legacy of quality craftsmanship, trust, and dedication that began nearly 80 years ago. Our commitment remains focused on providing expert collision repair and exceptional customer service to every vehicle and owner we work with.
